MARCH 29, 2019 — Let Nature Tours of Yukon show you around their hometown,
Whitehorse! Enjoy a tour of Whitehorse City, the Yukon Wildlife Preserve and the
Takhini Hot Springs. Your guide will have local stories to tell about the history
and people and show you the hidden gems of our town. The City Tour, among
other places, will take you to the Log Skyscraper, Old Log Church, Fish Ladder
and the SS Klondike. After a bagged picnic lunch, enjoy a visit to the Yukon
Wildlife Preserve. A great opportunity to view and photograph our local wildlife
(such as woodland caribou, elk, mountain goats, moose, mule deer, musk oxen,
wood bison, Dall’s sheep, stone sheep, lynx, red foxes and arctic foxes). Then
visit the Takhini Hot Springs, where you can enjoy the hot waters and relax a
little before resuming your adventures in the Yukon. (Please bring your bathing
suit, pool shoes and towel!)

Time: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. After dinner, around 9:30 PM,
Nature Tours of Yukon
will pick you up for a night of seeing the Northern Lights. We have no fixed
location and will drive to several viewing spots to give you the best chances
of seeing the Lights. Once we find a spot, we will build a campfire, roast some
marshmallows and have hot chocolate under the dancing Aurora Borealis.
Please note: This is a true wilderness experience, and we won’t stop at a heated
site, so clients should be aware that they need to dress appropriately. Our van
will be there to warm up in, but it can only heat up so much in -40. This is a true
adventure after all!

MARCH 30, 2019 — Let
Nature Tours of Yukon show you the hidden gems
of the Yukon, while driving south towards Carcross. Off the Alaska Highway
and onto the Klondike Highway, we follow the winding road towards beautiful
snow covered mountain ranges. There’s great chances to spot wildlife here!
About half-way to Carcross, turn onto an icy gravel road leading far into the back
country. You may spot caribou or moose while enjoying some more amazing
mountain views. We’ll stop at a back country (frozen) creek, where you can take
a moment to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the feeling of being in a truly
remote area. After that, continue to Carcross and for a walking tour through
this small First Nation community, before having a break by the snow-covered
beach. Try snowshoeing or just enjoy the views. In the afternoon, return to
Whitehorse.

in Dawson City for your transfer via the Husky Bus to the historic Downtown Hotel,
home of the (in)famous Sourtoe Cocktail. Will you get your certificate? From there
enjoy a driving tour of Dawson City and visit the Klondike Goldfields (2 hours).
Break for lunch (1 hour) then enjoy a guided walking tour of historic Dawson City
with (1 hour) and a visit to the Dawson City Museum. Enjoy free time and a

APRIL 1, 2019 — Transfers via the Husky Bus from the
Downtown Hotel to
Dawson City Airport for your flight with Air North, Yukon’s Airline. Don’t forget
your camera-the scenery during the flight to Inuvik, NWT is spectacular! Shortly
after arrival at Inuvik Airport, we are off for our exciting driving experience north
of the Arctic Circle. Enjoy the rare opportunity to drive both the Aklavik Ice Road
and the Dempster Highway! You will be greeted at the airport by your
Tundra
North Tours guide. Once greeted you will start on your first tour, the Aklavik Ice
Road Tour. Experience the crystal blue ice road, and the vastness of the frozen
Mackenzie Delta as you reach the remote town of Aklavik. Aklavik is a small
peaceful trapping and fishing community of 600 located in the Mackenzie Delta.
Gwich’in and Inuvialuit have traditionally gathered here to trade for goods from
as far away as the Pacific and Arctic coasts. Despite the small size, Aklavik is rich
in history despite the small size, and you will learn get to experience it all during
your guided town tour. After your town tour you will be brought back down the
Iconic Aklavik Ice Road until you reach our exclusive Aurora Viewing area. Here
you will be surrounded by Igloos’, illuminated Ice Inuksuks’, Ice Sculptures, and
Towering traditional teepees’. It is here where you will call home, as you bring
your belongings into your warm, personal Igloo to call home for the evening.
After, you shall hear traditional stories around a camp fire, try traditional food
and tea. The only thing left is to wait for the aww-inspiring dance of the Aurora
Borealis to take over your vision deep into the Arctic Sky.
APRIL 2, 2019 — On this day you depart down the Aklavik Ice road until you
reach the brand-new Mackenzie Highway. On your way to Tuktoyaktuk visit an
awe-inspiring herd of 3000 Reindeer. After this amazing experience, at the end
of this truly beautiful drive you will reach Tuktoyaktuk. Located on the Arctic
coastline, Tuktoyaktuk is home to many attractions such as the second largest
Pingo in the world, the Trans Canada Trail, and rich Aboriginal history. Enjoy
a town tour of the local monuments. After your town tour you will check into
your B&B for the evening. It is here you will experience your personal cultural
dinner with local elders of the community. After the dinner get yourself ready
for another night of Aurora Viewing alongside a warm fire and warm beverages.
The only difference this time is that you will be viewing from on top of the frozen
Arctic Ocean!
APRIL 3, 2019 — After a breakfast at your local B&B, we will depart back down
the Mackenzie Valley Highway back to the Inuvik Airport for your departing
flight. Travel to Whitehorse, Yukon with
